1. Why can't I access all features as soon as I register?

This is a security issue. CST Company has chosen to reduce the risk of exposing confidential and sensitive data by requiring your registration to be authenticated by personnel within CST Company. Should we have any questions, we will contact you before granting access to your account. Alternatively, you may contact CST Company by phone and we will review the registration and confirm your account immediately.

2. Why does CST Company require individual ID's and passwords rather than one for the entire department?

This, too, is a security issue.

Individual ID's and passwords allow for the possibility of deleting one individual (ex: someone leaves the company) without removing the access for the entire department or requiring the the entire department to change ID's and passwords each time this happens.

This also permits us to contact a particular person in the event that we need to discuss a specific account.

3. My ID and password aren't working. What's wrong?

Remember that you must be precise when entering your login ID and password. It is case sensitive. Be sure to write them down and keep them confidential.

If you forget your password, you may click on "Forgot Password".  An email will be sent to your registered address.  Click on the link provided in this email to change your password.  Your password is completely confidential and cannot be viewed by others.

4. In Update Profile, why do I have to contact CST Company to change my company name or e-mail address?

It is important that you notify us of these changes so that our internal records on collection files are updated. Confirming these changes with you personally insures that our records are accurate and that your e-mail and correspondence continues uninterrupted.

5. I have several claims to place. What alternative methods does CST Company offer for claim placement?

CST Company can accept claims in a variety of electronic formats. Perhaps the most common format is a spreadsheet. Please insure that all of the information requested on the claim placement screen is provided when available. We can also accept any fixed length text file, XML file or any special format if necessary. If you have multiple claims on a regular basis, CST Company can work with you to accept the data in a format that is mutually acceptable. Please call our office and ask to speak with someone regarding placing multiple claims. We will work to make it as easy for you as possible!
